Donley County will receive sealed bids until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008, at the County Judge’s office at the Courthouse, 300 S. Sully, Clarendon, at which time, bids will be opened on the following item: One (1) heavy duty diesel powered brush chipper. Fill information and bid proposal packages may be obtained from Donley County, 300 S. Sully (P.O. Box 909), Clarendon, TX 79226 or by phoning (806) 874-3625. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid proposal package. Donley County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities and irregularities in the bid process. NOTICE
OF PROPOSED BANK MERGER. Notice
is hereby given that Pilgrim Bank, 237 Jefferson Street, Pittsburg, Camp
County, Texas 75686, has made application to the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation, for its written consent to merge with Pilgrim Bank Texas,
1705 East 15th Street, Wellington, Collingsworth County, Texas 79095.
Pilgrim Bank and Pilgrim Bank Texas will each survive the merger. After
the merger, the office of Pilgrim Bank Texas located at 123 East Third
Street, Clarendon, Donley County, Texas 79226 will be redesignated and
operated as the main office of Pilgrim Bank Texas. The former main office
of Pilgrim Bank Texas located at 1705 East 15th Street, Wellington,
Collingsworth County, Texas 79095, and the branch of Pilgrim Bank Texas
located at 1404 South Broadway, Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas
75482 will be operated as branches of Pilgrim Bank. This notice is
published pursuant to Section 18(c) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her
comments in writing with the regional director (DOS) of the Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation at its regional off, 1601 Bryan Street,
Dallas, Texas 75201, not later than June 7, 2008. The nonconfidential
portions of the application are on file in the regional office and are
available for inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the
nonconfidential portions of the application file will be made available
upon request. NOTICE OF PROPOSED MERGER. Notice is hereby given that Pilgrim Bank, 237 Jefferson Street, Pittsburg, Camp County, Texas 75686, intends to file an application with the Banking Commissioner of Texas on or about May 8, 2008, for its consent to merge with Pilgrim Bank Texas, 1705 East 15th Street, Wellington, Collingsworth County, Texas 79095, with each Pilgrim Bank and Pilgrim Bank Texas surviving the merger. As part of this transaction, the home office of Pilgrim Bank Texas will be relocated to 123 East Third Street, Clarendon, Donley County, Texas 79226. After this merger, all offices of Pilgrim Bank Texas (other than the relocated home office) will be operated as branches of Pilgrim Bank. Any person wishing to comment on this application, either for or against, may file written comments with the Texas Department of Banking, 2601 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78705-4294, within fourteen (14) days of the date of this publication. Such comments will be made a part of the record before and considered by the Banking Commissioner. No filing fee is associated with the filing of a comment letter. Any person wishing to formally protest and oppose the proposed acquisition of bank assets and assumption of liabilities and participate in the application process may do so by filing a written notice of protest with the Texas Department of Banking, 2601 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78705-4294 within the fourteen (14) days of the date of this publication, together with a filing fee of $2,500. The protest fee may be reduced or waived by the Banking Commissioner upon a showing of substantial hardship. |
