CLARENDON COLLEGE IS SOLICITING PROPOSALS FOR: VCT TILE AND INSTALLATION OF TILE ON THE CLARENDON COLLEGE CAMPUS:  Buildings included in this request are:  RFO; Knorpp Hall; Vaughan Hall, Phelan Hall, and the downtown Vo-Tech Building.  Full information, specifications, and proposal documents may be obtained from Mrs. Annette Ferguson, Comptroller, Clarendon College, 1122 College Drive, P.O. JOINT PRESS STATEMENT
Bryan Hill has announced his resignation as Superintendent of Schools for the Hedley Independent School District. An agreement has been reached which allows Mr. Hill the ability to pursue other interests and permits the Board to pursue hiring another Superintendent. The Board and Mr. Hill have entered into the Agreement believing it is in their respective best interests and in the best interests of the District.

THE CLARENDON FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL BE SELLING THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT

1-       1980 Chevrolet, 1 ton, 4x4 automatic with utility bed

1-       1971 Ford Fire Truck, 3 ½ ton

1-       1977 Chevrolet Truck, 2 ton with 1800 gallon tank

1-       1953 Willys Jeep

1-       1954 Willys Jeep

1-       1974 Chevrolet 454 automatic cab/chassis

The listed trucks will be sold by sealed bid. Trucks may be viewed beginning on June 27, 2009 on the lot north of the fire station. Bids will be opened on July 18, 2009 and the winning bidders will be notified. All trucks must be paid for and removed within 7 days of July 18, 2009 or they will be awarded to the next highest bidder. The Clarendon Fire Department reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. All trucks are sold as is with no guarantees and all sales transactions will be final.
