Bronco Band members qualify for all-region

Twenty-four members of the Clarendon High School Bronco Band auditioned for the All-Region Band, and eight of those members made the band.

Ottis Scrivner, Lydia Hartman, Laura Dziedzic, and Robert Shelton were named to the Symphonic Band. Branson Carter, Destiny Weatherton, Andra Helms, and Vanna Holton were named to the Concert Band.  They will perform at the All-Region Concert on January 17 at the Amarillo Civic Center.  The Concert Band will perform at 4:15 and the Symphonic Band will perform at 4:15.

Scrivner and Hartman were first chair in the symphonic band and will audition for the All-State Band on January 10, 2004, at Lubbock Cooper.

Each band has 110 students from all over the Panhandle.
