Funeral services for Velma May Page, age 83, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2000, at Memorial Park Chapel in Amarillo with Rev. Jim Powell, Pastor of the Howardwick First Baptist Church officiating.  Burial was held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Mrs. Page died Friday, November 3, 2000, in Wichita Falls.  She was born January 25, 1917, in Ira, Texas.  She married Albert Earl Page on January 11, 1932, in Snyder, Texas.  He preceded her in death on June 6, 1989.  She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson, Robert Lynn Baker.

Survivors include one daughter, Billie Louise Melton of Howardwick; two sons, Edward Earl Page of Iowa Park and Bobby Joe Page of Slaton; one sister, Ida Inez Pinkerton of Snyder; one brother, Pete Walls of Post; six grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
