Funeral services for Eileen Pricilla “Tiny” Bernabe, age 84, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2000, in the First Christian Church in Clarendon with Charles Waugh, Pastor of Westview Christian Church in Amarillo, officiating.  Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc.

Mrs. Bernabe died Friday, December 1, 2000, in Clarendon.  She was born May 28, 1916, in Burlington, Iowa.  She married Wilbert “Bernie” Bernabe on February 17, 1946, at St. Louis, Missouri.  She had been a music teacher since 1954 and was a resident of Amarillo before moving to Clarendon in October 1976.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Clarendon.

Survivors include her husband, Wilbert “Bernie” Bernabe of Clarendon; two sons, Gary Wilbert Bernabe of Iowa City, Iowa, and Terry Bernie Bernabe of New Braunfels, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Fred Clifford, Terry Fowler, Robert Patton, Danny Askew, David Lowrie, and Jerry Hawkins.
