Parker  

Chris B. Parker, age 42, died December 13, 2000.

Services were held Tuesday, December 19, 2000, at 11:00 a.m. in the Follett United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Ford officiating.  Burial was held in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett, Texas, under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, in Booker.

Mr. Parker was born on November 29, 1958, in Pampa.  He lived in Taos for three years.  He was a longtime resident of the Amarillo, Pampa area. He attended Amarillo High School.  He married Maya Chavez.  He was a homebuilder and master carpenter who loved sports and the outdoors.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley and Jim Holder, Naconona Lake, Texas; Paul and Laverne Coronis, father of Pampa; Maya Parker, wife, of Pampa; daughter, Jennifer Parker, daughter; Nedra Brannon Chavex, mother-in-law; and one grandson.

The family request memorials be made to St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Clarendon.
