services for Cora Nell Castleberry, age 87, were held at 2:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, February 28, 2001, in Robertson Chapel of Memories with Bright
Newhouse, Minister of the Hedley Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery under the direction of
Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.
Castleberry died Saturday, February 24, 2001, in Amarillo.
She was born April 2, 1913, in Callahan County, Texas, and had
lived in Clarendon for more than 60 years, moving to Clarendon from
Alanreed. She married Olin
Aaron Castleberry on January 6, 1943, at McLean. He preceded her in death on June 25, 192.
She was employed at the Clarendon College Cafeteria for several
years before her retirement. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarendon Church of
