Heckman

Funeral services for Annie Mae Heckman, age 100, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2001, in the Robertson Chapel of Memories in Clarendon with June Douglas and Emmy Nelson, both of Borger, officiating.  Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.

Mrs. Heckman died Tuesday, February 27, 2001, in Claude. She was born October 22, 1900, in Wellington and was living on the JA Ranch in Armstrong County before moving to Clarendon in 1929. She married George Edward Heckman in 1920 in Armstrong County. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1956. She was a homemaker and was a non-denominational member.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Leola Gilmore, and two grandchildren, Richard Heckman and Debbie M. Heckman.

Survivors include three sons, Ray Heckman of Claude, Lowell Heckman of Pampa, and Cecil Heckman of Walsenburg, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren.
