Rector

Memorial services for Mary Beth Rector, age 76, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2002, in the chapel of Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors with Dan Moser of the First Church of Christ-Scientist in Amarillo officiating. A private committal service was held at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

Mrs. Rector died January 31, 2002, in Amarillo. She married Harold C. Rector on August 27, 1950, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They moved to Amarillo in 1953 from Fairbanks, Alaska. She was a member of the First Church of Christ-Scientist in Amarillo.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Rector of Amarillo; two daughters, Sharon Rector of Houston and Suzanne and her husband Randy Dale of Dallas; one brother, E.G. Gilmore of Muskogee, Oklahoma; one sister, June Vermillion of Katamazoo, Michigan; and two grandchildren, Justin and Tanner Dale, both of Dallas.
