Reese
Funeral
services for De Lois Reese, age 74, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday,
April 26, 2003, in the True Church of God in Christ in Clarendon. Burial
was held in Citizens Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral
Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.
Ms.
Reese died Monday, April 21, 2003, in Clarendon. She was born December 13, 1928, in Dallas and attended school
there. She had been a
Clarendon resident most of her adult life.
She was a homemaker and had worked in private homes and had been
employed at Medical Center Nursing Home for ten years prior to her
retirement. She was a member
of the True Church of God in Christ.
She
was preceded in death by two sons, Calvin Reese and Freddie Reese.
Survivors
include one daughter, Eva Wilson of Clarendon; one son, Alvin Reese of
Clarendon; two sisters, Lou Ethel Edison of Illinois and Erma Lee Scott of
California; one brother, Walter Reese of Clarendon; six grandchildren;
three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
