Glover

Graveside services for Lynn Kay Glover, age 55, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2003, in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley with Rev. Bryan Knowles, Pastor of Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon, officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., in Clarendon.

Ms. Glover was born January 3, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, and moved from Michigan to Amarillo in 1955.  She had worked various places prior to retiring due to her health.  She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Eldridge Glover, and her step-father, David Goodson.

Survivors include her mother, Virgie Goodson of Hedley; two daughters, WaLonda and Kimberly; a son, Wesley; two sisters, Sandy D’Luge of Hedley and Pam Willis of Midland; three brothers, Austin Glover of Milan, New Mexico; Ron Glover of Hedley; and John Glover of Amarillo; a half-brother, Richie Goodson of Lubbock; a special friend, Ike Haverland of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
