Funeral services for Beulah Watson Doyle, age 92, were held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2003, in the First United Methodist Church in Claude with Rev. Don Travis, former Pastor, and Rev. Janet Edwards, Pastor, officiating.  Burial was held in Claude Cemetery under the direction or Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.

Mrs. Doyle died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, in Claude.  She was born February 18, 1911, in Paris, Texas, and had been a resident of Armstrong County most of her adult life.  She married  A.C. “Peg” Doyle on March 1, 1941, at Claude.  He preceded her in death on June 1, 1992.  She was a schoolteacher most of her life before her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Claude and a member of the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dick Doyle, in 1988.

Survivors include a son, John Doyle of Claude; a daughter, Mildred Seaton of Austin; ten grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
