Dune
Memorial
services for Mrs. Myra Darlene McAnear Dune, age 44, of Hopkins, were held
at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2003, in Trinity Presbyterian Church,
with Rev. Allison Moody officiating.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Greenlawn Funeral Home arranged the services.
Mrs.
Dune died Monday, May 19, 2003, in Palmetto Baptist Medical Center,
following a brief illness. She was born June 26, 1958, in Wadford City,
North Dakota, to the late Fed McAnear and Myra Jean Nelson McAnear, and
was the widow of Gordon Frank Dune. She
had been a resident of Hopkins for the past 16 years.
She was employed as a computer operator at the Post Exchange at
Fort Jackson and attended Trinity Presbyterian Church.
She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Survivors
include by a son, William F. Dune of Columbia; her mother, Jean McAnear of
Clarendon; a sister, Joy Luehrs of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Jack
McAnear of Houston and Mike McAnear of Clarendon; several nieces and
nephews.
