Brunson

Graveside services for Roland Howard Brunson, 67, were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2003, in the Claude Cemetery with Rev. Don Travis, retired Methodist Minister, officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.

Mr. Brunson died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, in Claude, Texas.  He was born February 4, 1936, in Claude and had been a Claude resident all of his life.  He had been a farmer and rancher most of his life.  He was an MP in the US Army and was a member of the Claude VFW Post.

Survivors include one son, Leslie Brunson of Amarillo; his mother, Odessa Brunson of Claude; one sister, Marilyn Mays of Amarillo; and two nephews, Vincent Mays of Amarillo and William Mays of Fort Worth.
