Banister
Services
for Douglas “Doug” N. Banister, age 21, were held Thursday, July 3,
2003, at Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church in Amarillo with Dr. Randy
Davis officiating. Burial was
held in Memory Gardens in Amarillo, Texas under the direction of Schooler-Gordon
Funeral Directors.
Mr.
Banister died July 1, 2003. He
graduated from Randall High School, in 2000.
He enjoyed snow skiing, softball, and football.
He was baptized November 13, 1988, at the Lamount Drive Baptist
Church in Amarillo. He
attended Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors
include his parents, Kelsey and Ann Banister of Amarillo; one sister,
Traci Banister of Lubbock; two grandmothers, Mary Banister of Clarendon,
and Audry Huff of Pampa; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family
received friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. last Wednesday.
