Graveside services for Wallace W. “Billy” Hill, age 69, were held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2003, in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Bright Newhouse, Minister of the Hedley Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.

Mr. Hill died Monday, September 1, 2003, in Amarillo.  He was born October 6, 1933, in Clarendon where he resided until moving to Claude in 1977.  He moved from Claude to Pampa in 1981.  He had worked at various places throughout his life before his retirement.  He was a member of the Clarendon Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Jeff Downing of Dumas; and a grandson, Sheldon Downing of Dumas.

Honorary casket bearers were Bob Kidd, Edwin Campbell, Benton Wauer, Tommy Hodnet, and Clyde Barker.

The family requests that memorials be to BSA Hospice in Amarillo.
