Mrs.
Bell died Thursday, January 1, 2004, in Lubbock. She was born May 12, 1923, in Clarendon and was a lifetime
resident of Clarendon. She married Shelby C. Bell on May 9, 1943, at
Amarillo. She had spent a
lifetime touching almost every life in Clarendon through her medical

She was always there when she was needed to comfort and care for
those in need. Betty was a
devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew and loved
her. She will be greatly
missed and fondly remembered. The

She never forgot any of them.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby C. Bell, and one son, Stephen
Bell.
Survivors
include four sons, Shelby Bell and wife Andrea, Robert Bell and wife
Sharon, Jack Bell and wife Carol, all of Lubbock; Richard Bell and wife
