Viola Coy Looper Berry, age 79, of Midland, died Sunday, October 24, 2004, in Midland, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on October 27, 2004, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home in Midland.

Mrs. Looper was born July 29, 1925, to James and Lettie Looper in Paden, Oklahoma.  She married Horace Berry in 1949.  The couple owned Berry Realtors in Midland and operated as realtors for over 20 years.  She was involved as a volunteer for Rainbows and Hospice of Midland after she retired from real estate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and seven siblings.

Survivors include her son, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
