Brobst

Jean Brobst, 81 year old resident of Howardwick and formerly of Woodward, died August 24, 2005, at her home in Howardwick.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2005, in the Zwanziger Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor JoAnn Kirkham officiating.  Burial followed at the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Zwanziger Funeral Home.

Irma Jean Brobst was born March 20, 1924, at Slick, Oklahoma, to Charlie and Ella J. (Kock) Peacock.  She attended school at Slick, Oklahoma.  Jean married Howard Brobst on November 28, 1966, at Canadian, Texas.  Jean will be missed by her children as she loved to be around them.

She is survived by two sons, Jack David and wife Gail of Woodard, Oklahoma, and Milton David and wife Theresa of Pampa; two daughters, Darlene D. Hunt of Roseville, California, and Sandy Stephens and husband Ron of Burnet, Texas; one brother, Paul Peacock of Max, Colorado; 21 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard Brobst, seven brothers, and two sisters.
