Williams

Funeral Services for Harve W. Williams, 65, of Turkey were held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church in Turkey with Rev. Glenda Johnson and Bruce Bridges officiating. Interment services followed in the Dreamland Cemetery at Turkey.

Mr. Williams passed away late Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at his residence.

He married Betty Smith on December 31, 1964, in Amarillo, Texas. Harve was retired from the Moormans Manufacturing Company with over 30 years of service. He also was a farmer and rancher. Mr Williams lived in Clarendon for 10 years before returning to Turkey about 1½ years ago. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Harve was preceded in death by his father, Doc Williams, in September of 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean of Turkey; one son, Kyle Wade Williams of Idalou; one daughter, Kelley Ann Cash of Anson; his mother, Arowene Williams of Lubbock; one brother: Terry ‘Doc’ Williams of Abilene; one sister, Bridgett Johnson of Idalou; and six grandchildren.
