Davis

Funeral services for Paul Boyd Davis, age 59, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2005, in Robertson Chapel of Memories with Steve Cook of Clarendon officiating.  Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc, of Clarendon.

Mr. Davis died Thursday, September 15, 2005, in Clarendon.  He was born December 5, 1945, in Abilene and was an Amarillo resident before moving to Clarendon five years ago.  He married Jimmie Marie Tomlinson on June 20, 1977, at Stamford.  He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He had worked most of his life in law enforcement with the State Police and various other agencies.  He was a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Davis of Clarendon; four sons, Gene Tomlinson of Abilene; Christopher Davis of Carson City, Nevada; Jon Davis of Clarendon; and Matthew North of Carrolton; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Davis of Foley, Alabama, and Shana North of Carrolton; two brothers; one sister; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Dale Adams, Edward McKinney, James Turner, Lyn McKinney, Jon Davis, and Chris Davis.
