Bollinger

Graveside services for Marion Edward Bollinger, age 72, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2005, in Citizens Cemetery with Dr. Genoah Goad, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Howardwick, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.

Mr. Bollinger died Monday, December 5, 2005, in Clarendon.  He was born August 9, 1933, in Dalhart and lived in Stratford before moving to Clarendon in 1988.  He married Roberta Ruth Lindley on May 23, 1959, at Dalhart.  He had worked various places as a maintenance person throughout his life, and he was employed by the City of Clarendon at the time of his death.  He had served in the US Navy and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Howardwick.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lynn Bollinger, on January 26, 2001.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Bollinger of Clarendon; one daughter, Gwen Barker of Clarendon; one brother, Dayland Bollinger of Dalhart; and three grandchildren.
