Kenneth Dale Evans, age 67, of North Richland Hills, Texas, died Monday, December 26, 2005, in Fort Worth, Texas. A memorial service was held Thursday, December 29, 2005, at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Evans was born on June 21, 1938, in Santa Maria, California, the son of Kermit and Florence Evans. The family moved from California to Ashtola, Texas, in 1945; and he attended schools in Ashtola and graduated from Clarendon High School and later attended the University of Texas at Arlington.  He served in the US Navy from September 1956 until September 1960 on the USS Kearsarge and the USS Helena as a court reporter and military law specialist.

Kenneth was employed by Chevron Chemical Company in marketing and in 1984 became District Operations Manager for Picker International in Dallas and later in Corona, California.

In his retirement he enrolled in nursing school and was doing hospice nursing until his death.

He was always the constant, quiet, caring, and genuine listening friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Susan Evans, and his brother, Gene Evans.

 Survivors include daughters, Cynthia Allen and Angela Evans; brother, Carl Evans and wife Ruth; sister, Carol Evans Powell and husband Thad; six grandchildren; the Marroquin family; and numerous relatives and friends who loved him.
