Memorial services for
Glenn Alan Mann, age 56, were at held
at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Robertson Chapel of Memories
with Bright Newhouse, Church of Christ Minister, and Eddie Stegall,
minister of the Clarendon Church of Christ, officiating. Cremation took
place in Fort Worth and interment was held at Citizens Cemetery under the
direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.
Mr. Mann died
Thursday, May 11, 2006, in Hurst, Texas.
He was born December 11, 1949, in Clarendon and was raised in
Clarendon. He was a resident
of Georgia before moving to Hurst 20 years ago.
He had been a truck driver most of his life.
He was a US Army
Veteran of the Vietnam War, for which he received numerous commendations
and awards for his military service. He was a member of the Church of
Christ.
He was survived by his mother, Irene Brians of Lubbock; a sister, Shirley Bobbitt
and husband Emmett of Lubbock, and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests
that memorials be to the Clarendon Church of Christ Family Life Center
Fund.
