Bennie
Williams “Ben” Burrow, 80, died Monday, September 4, 2006
in Clarendon
Services were held at
11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in Robertson Chapel of Memories
in Clarendon with Rev. Bryan Knowles, Baptist Minister, officiating.
Burial was in Citizens Cemetery. Services were under the direction of
Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.
Mr. Burrow was born
on September 3, 1926 in Red River County, Texas, to William Henry and
Mettie Bartlett Burrow. He had been a resident of Clarendon since 1955. He
married Nell Winkle on July 26, 1950, at Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a
farmer. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Burrow was
preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his
wife, Nell Burrow of Clarendon; one daughter, Nelda Lunsford of Clarendon;
three sons, Calvin Burrow and wife Beverly, Cecil Burrow and wife Mindy,
all of Clarendon, and Lloyd Burrow and Thelma Grammond of Temple; 11
grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
The family requests
memorials be to a favorite charity.
