Christine Milward, 85, of Amarillo, died Friday, November 3, 2006.

Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 East Interstate 40.

Mrs. Milward was born February 3, 1921, in Clovis, New Mexico. She attended Amarillo High School and Daughon’s Business College. Mrs. Milward worked for Automotive Electric retiring in 1986. She was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church and was baptized in 1958.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Ona and Ben Lindsey, sisters Pauline Box, Winnie Whitt, Nell Lindsey and Mable Powell and a niece, Pamela Jackson.

Survivors include a son, Chuck Milward and wife Pat; daughter Jean Human and husband Billy; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great nephew Ben Jackson of Homer, Louisiana.
