Cary Lind Gillpatrick, 55, died Thursday, November 16, 2006, in Pampa, Texas.

Memorial Services were held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2006, in the Carpenter’s Church Interdenominational with Rev. Charles Lowry of Cross Point Baptist Church in Pampa, and Patrick Robertson, family friend of Clarendon, officiating.  Cremation was at City View Crematory in Vega.  Services were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.

Mr. Gillpatrick was born January 8, 1951, in Pampa and had lived in Pampa most of his life.

 He attended Pampa schools, and graduated from Tulsa High School in 1968.  He worked as a butcher at Frank’s Grocery in Pampa for more than 20 years.

He married the former Barbara Darlene Summers on November 25, 1993, in Pampa.

Mr. Gillpatrick was preceeded in death by his father, J.M. Gillpatrick in 1988.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Gillpatrick of Pampa; his mother, Katherine Greer Gillpatrick of Pampa; a son, Matthew Gillpatrick of Ft. Stockton; a daughter, Lori Scarsdale and husband Jesse of Porter, OK; 6 step children, Tabby Parker and husband David of Tuttle, OK, Valarie Dickinson and husband Michael of Pampa, Tonya Brown and Gene LaRue of Tulsa, OK, David Tolbert of Clarendon, Daniel Tolbert of Davis, OK, Pam Fodor and husband Glenn of Tulsa, OK; 2 brothers, Max Gillpatrick of Pampa, Jon Gillpatrick and wife Janice of Marietta, GA; and 18 grandchildren.
