Eunice Corene Ashcraft, 85, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, in Clarendon.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon with Rev. Roger Smith, Pastor, and Rev. Darrel Burton of Clarendon, officiating. Burial followed in Citizens Cemetery. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Ashcraft was born November 23, 1921, in Hall County and had lived in Clarendon throughout her life. She married Woodrow Wesley Ashcraft on December 11, 1937, at Clarendon. She was a member of the Red Hatters Club and a member of Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ashcraft was preceded in death by her husband on April 10, 2004; a son, Wesley Merle Ashcraft on January 11, 2001; a daughter, Joe Veta Sasser on June 24, 2006; five brothers; and two grandsons.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Watson and Judy Haire both of Clarendon; one son, Jimmy Don Ashcraft of Copperas Cove, TX; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Medical Center Nursing Home, PO Box 1007, Clarendon, TX 79226-1007 or Odyssey Hospice in Amarillo.
