Harold Dwayne Sanders, 71, died in Childress, Thursday, July 19, 2007.

Services were held graveside, Lakeview Cemetery on Saturday, July 21, 2007, with Rev. Rick Musick officiating.  Services were under Johnson Funeral Home of Childress.

Harold Dwayne Sanders was born August 30, 1935, in Mahoney, Texas, to Zelbert and Zella Sanders.  He loved to fish and work with his hands, especially on any sort of engine.  He was a loving father and grandfather.  Being an avid fisherman, he was a member of the Anglers Sportsman Club of Childress.

Mr. Sander was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include one son, Dwayne Sanders and wife Lori of Haileyville, OK; five daughters: Debbie Cabler and husband Earl of Memphis, Ronda Altman and husband Tim of Kirkland, Bonnie Sloss and husband Chris of Childress, Tammy Eikman and husband Rodger of Childress, Sherri Gonzales and husband Cliff of Meade, KS; three sisters; one brother; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
