Billie Virginia Huffman Taylor, 84, died Monday, September 10, 2007, at Jackson, Tenn.

Cremation took place in Tennessee.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13 2007, at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Clarendon.  Arrangements were made by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Taylor was born September 11, 1922, in Hedley to William H. and Cora Lee Huffman, and had lived in Donley County most of her life. She worked for several years as a waitress in various area restaurants. She married Clifford Smith Taylor on December 3, 1938, at Hedley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband on February 21, 1985, and by a daughter, Ginger Mills.

Survivors include four sons, Jerry Taylor of Amarillo, David Taylor and Larry Taylor both of Mercer, Tennessee; Gene Taylor of Bentonville, Ark.; a daughter; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
