Frank E.
Jones of Harker Heights died Friday, November 9, 2007.
Funeral services were held at
Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights on Wednesday, November 14 at 12:30
p.m. followed by graveside services at the Central Texas State Veterans
Cemetery in Killeen.
Frank was born February 12, 1934,
in Amarillo. He grew up and went to school in Clarendon. In 1952 he went
to work for Plains Dairy in Amarillo and retired as the general sales
manager 50 years later. In 1953 he married Jennie Abdullah. He was active
in the community as a member of the Masonic Lodge, a Kids
Incorporatedcoach, The United Way and many business related activities.
Frank was a member and past director of the Dairy Products Institute of
Texas and inducted into their Hall of Fame. After retiring to Harker
Heights, Frank joined C.O.P.s. He and Jennie attended Trinity Baptist
Church and belonged to the 55 and Up and the Harker Heights Friends of the
Library.
Frank is survived by his wife
Jennie; son Jeff, daughter-in-law Deborah; great grandchildren Jacob and
Julia all of Harker Heights; granddaughter Jenny; grandson Chris of
Temple; a brother William of Amarillo; an uncle Billy of San Antonio and
many sisters and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear
friends. He loved them all very much.
