James Carlos Stinson, age 42, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Clarendon.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with Rev. Dale Miller, Pastor of Red Marble Ministries in Memphis, officiating.

Interment was in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with arrangements by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mr. Stinson was born October 4, 1965 in Amarillo to James Everett and Frances Eloise Barefoot Stinson. He had been a resident of Clarendon and Donley County for almost 15 years. He was well liked by everyone who knew him. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Howardwick.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Conner, on December 29, 1996, and his grandfather, J.C. Barefoot on April 10, 1999.

Survivors include his father, James Stinson and wife Judy of Wayne, Okla.; his grandmother, Maudie Barefoot of Clarendon; and a sister, Candice Stinson.

The family requests memorials be to the Donley County Senior Citizens Association.
