Ethelyn Drennan Grady, age 87, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Clarendon.

Services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 24, 2008, in St. John The Baptist Episcopal Church in Clarendon with Rev. Jim Aveni, Vicar, officiating.

Interment with Order of The Eastern Star rites will be in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with arrangements by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Grady was born November 21, 1920, in Clarendon to Robert E. and Minnie Potter Drennan, and she was a lifetime Clarendon resident. She married Johnny Grady on May 3, 1946, at Clarendon. She was a teacher and counselor at the Clarendon schools for 30 years and then was a dispatcher at the Donley County Sheriff’s Department for 13 years before her retirement.

She was a member of the Clarendon Order Of The Eastern Star Chapter #6 and a member of the St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Clarendon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband on September 17, 1970.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Grady of Clarendon; and one son, John Grady of Clarendon.

The family will be at 919 West 5th.
