Otha
Imadell Koontz Eddleman, 85, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in
Houston.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on
Friday, June 13, 2008, in the United Methodist Church in Claude with Rev.
Janet Edwards, Pastor, officiating. Burial was held at Claude Cemetery in
Claude. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors
of Clarendon.
Otha was born March 16, 1923, in
Hedley to Ulysses Grant and Mary Belle Mangus Koontz. She married Robert
Gordon Eddleman, Jr., on May 27, 1942, in Claude. She had been a resident
of Armstrong County and Claude for many years. She loved her home, and
family was her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the United
Methodist Church in Claude. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, on December 13, 1980; her parents; and several brothers and
sisters.
Survivors include three daughters,
Kathi Holland of Turpin, Okla., Gail Thomas of Spanish Fort, Ala., and
Karen Templeton of Dumas; a son, Kenny Eddleman of Amarillo; 10
grandchildren, Brit Thomas, Brad Thomas, Craig Sandlin, Tamara Roberts,
Todd Templeton, Lynn Holland, Whitney Holland, Lindsey Eddleman, Eric
Eddleman, and Leslie Eddleman; six great grandchildren, Carolina Sandlin,
Cole Roberts, Carson Roberts, Rob Thomas, Ariel Benegas, and Kenlie
Bordayo; and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial
contributions be made to the United Methodist Church in Claude or to the
Claude EMS.
