Richard Van “Dick” Kennedy, 76, of Tulia died Sunday, June 15, 2008, in Amarillo.

No services will be held. Burial will be held at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors.

Mr. Kennedy was born July 14, 1931, in Clarendon to Van and Anne Cagle Kennedy. He was a public school teacher for much of his life prior to his retirement. He had been a resident of Tulia for the past several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Dorothy Anne Bagwell.

Survivors include several cousins.
