Linda Short died September 11 in Abilene due to long illness.

Linda was born June 6, 1946, in Macomb, Illinois. She lived in Clarendon for 30 years before moving to Beckenridge four years ago.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Twilla Marie Richey; two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by husband Billy Wayne Short of Beckenridge, son Kevin Bramer of Haslet, daughter Kelly Bramer of Clarendon, and daughter Karol Moyer of Junction City, Kansas. She also has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
